Don't Sell Your Birthright-In The Crushing

Sep 20, 2023

This has been heavy on my heart, so listen prayerfully

The spirit of heaviness, weariness, anxiety, depression, you name it has been felt by many in this hour. The enemy has tried hard to hit the people of God with this sluggish feeling.
It felt so intense at times you didn’t even know what it was or what exactly was going on.

As I was in prayer/worship, thanking God for victory over this foul spirit, and it's lifting off me, the Lord began to show me things to pray into and people to pray for. (Thank you, Lord)!
I felt at peace afterward and thought that was it, but He sent me to release this word to whom it may concern.

Do not give in to that foul spirit of (depression, oppression, muzzling, fatigue, or whatever it is showing up as for you). Reject it. Rebuke it off you. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Child of God, you are not going under. You are not losing your mind. You are not going crazy. The devil is not winning. No, it hasn’t all been wasted. Refute the lies. That pressure you have been feeling suddenly will not be the death of you. You shall not die, but live…decree it.

“I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God is in your midst, and He is shifting you through that pain, adversity, and discomfort. God is wise and whether you see it or not, He is using this intense heat for your good and for His glory. God is drawing you closer and deeper into Him.

Perhaps, if all was at well, you won’t be praying, studying the word, attending services, or whatever act of worship. The heat has driven many to their knees in repentance and for help (so all of it hasn’t been bad. Give thanks in everything).
Remember Romans 8:28?

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It’s all working out for your good.

Hold your head up, child of the Most High God. Don’t lose your cool, don’t let off your guard, don’t throw in the towel. Push through! Press forward!
Speak life over yourself and all that concerns you. Don’t relent until you see the victory Christ has already won for you to manifest for you and your loved ones.

Speaking of loved ones,
Be warned and be careful of whom you let in. Be mindful of whom you speak with and run to for help.
This is not the season for flesh. God is purging us all the way through, so whatever sin, weakness, insecurities, you may have, lay it at the feet of Jesus and repent for real. Obtain grace and mercy, for God is rich in mercy. Don’t be blindsided by your flesh. You didn’t come this far to blow it. God is committed to your winning, so partner with Him and not your flesh.

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Don’t sell your birthright!

There are many 'Jacobs’ that are after your birthright. Don’t let your current hunger and desperation for a pot of stew make you despise your birthright. The enemy wants to use the attack and intense pressure to make you give up your birthright, but don’t do it. Dare the devil to do his worst, he may turn everyone around you against you, but don’t give up. The people who used to cheer you on may be the ones causing you pain, but still, don’t give up. Don’t harbor offense or resentment in your heart. It’s all a trap, but you shall not fail. God is with you.
So whatever you do, don’t go back to Egypt. Do not sell your birthright, for you shall soon see how valuable it truly is once the pain lifts.

“Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom. But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.” And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?” Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.” So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭25‬:‭29‬-‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Keep pressing forward. Keep praising.
Suddenly, you will be standing on the mountain top. Suddenly, God Himself will lift you. Suddenly, you will see that you are truly above and not beneath.
Suddenly, you shall rejoice and praise the Lord! Hallelujah!
Praise the Lord in advance. Come up higher. Congratulations! It is over!
Jesus has prevailed, you have prevailed!

“But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.””

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Shalom!

In Christ,
